You will visit the ruins of the ancient city of Antioch and drive through a beautiful landscape to Ancient Iconium. In Konya, we will explore the Archaeological Museum, and you will also have the opportunity to visit the Museum of Mevlana.
On the way to Cappadocia, we will make a stop in Sultanhan for a break, where you can explore the Caravanserai of Sultanhan. Before reaching our hotel, we will also visit the Underground city of Derinkuyu.
This morning, you have the opportunity to experience a hot air balloon flight over the breathtaking landscapes of Cappadocia. Following the balloon ride, you will visit the Church of St. John the Baptist. Afterward, take a stroll in the National Park, and you also have the chance to witness the mesmerizing dance of the dervishes. Goreme, Zelve, and the Pashabag open-air museum are additional places where you can explore numerous fascinating cave churches and gain insight into the lives of early Christians.
After spending time in Cappadocia, we will drive to Ankara. On the way, you will have the chance to see the biggest salt lake in Turkey. In Ankara, you will visit the most beautiful Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, taking a walk through the history of mankind.
In the afternoon, upon our arrival in Istanbul, before heading to the hotel, we will enjoy a delightful Boat trip along the Bosphorus. Additionally, we will visit the Greek Patriarchal Church, St. George Church, and the Bulgarian Orthodox St. Stephen Church, a unique structure fully constructed using metal.
You will visit Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace Museum, the Hippodrome, Galata Tower, Underground Cistern, and Suleymaniye Mosque during your time in Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul, with Holy Mass scheduled at Saint Antony Church in the morning.
